Rayon is a manufactured regenerated cellulose fibers, primarily purified from wood pulp. Rayon is a versatile fibre and has similar qualities to natural fibres, imitating to the feel of silk, wool, cotton and linen. This makes rayon suitable for almost all garments. Commonly used in dresses, linings, shirts, shorts, coats, jackets, and other outer wear; it is also used in industrial yarns (tyre cord), upholstery and carpets.
